TRAVEL
Hunters must fly into the Saskatoon Airport. It is the responsibility of the hunter to arrange for vehicle rental from the airport and to drive up to our camp at Waskesiu Lake. A 4x4 vehicle is suggested but not imperative. If you find yourself overnighting in Saskatoon, we suggest either the Saskatoon Inn or the Days Inn.
For assistance with any of the aforementioned
bookings, you may contact our camp’s travel agent, Mike Bayda with Lobstick
Travel. His phone number & email are - 306-763-7415 lobsticktravel@sasktel.net
ACCOMODATION
Bear camp is entirely operated from our
newly constructed lodge that borders Prince Albert National Park.
Completed in the spring of 2002, this lodge has all the amenities of
home
but boasts the unique atmosphere you could only hope for on a hunting
trip.
You will find yourself peering out our picture windows to see the deer,
elk or bear that frequent the forest surrounding our lodge. Relax in
the
comfort of log furnishings handcrafted by your host, while dreaming of
your hunt as you see the world- class trophy mounts that the lodge is
home
to.

Our Whitetail camp uses the lodge as a social gathering area. Our successes are skinned & hang at the lodge. The lodge also houses our guides and is used to host our Sunday night dinners around the oversized dinner table. Sleeping accommodations for our Whitetail clients are in the lap of luxury. Condominiums located in the town site of Waskesiu serve as your home during your visit. Private bedrooms connected by large living rooms with wood burning fireplaces are comfortable and spacious. Two rooftop hot tubs are welcomed amenities after a long cold day in Saskatchewan’s north. Full maid services are included, as well as elaborate in room hot breakfasts, bagged lunches, and Chef’s Nightly Table D’hote. All snacks & non-alcohol beverages are included in your packages. No one leaves our camp hungry. Secretarial, fax and on-line services are available at the whitetail camp. The lodging is provided by Nancy’s family operated business, The Hawood Inn, and it’s website may be viewed at www.hawood.com
